Can't say it hurts as it is somewhat uncomfortable but the end result of colon and liver stimulation goes a long way towards a very complete cleansing. When the liver dumps start to take place it is somewhat uncomfortable as each rush of the bile occurs. It is somewhat like having diarrhea but enclosed and easily released without being sick while it happens.
Be sure to take in electrolytes after a colon hydro session as you do lose a substantive amount of it doing the cleanse even though there is a tendency to get hydrated from the cleansing.
