Hi Mei,
I'm sorry to hear of your husband's bad experience. It sounds like you
have found colonics beneficial, and had hoped he would feel the same way.
I would have no way of knowing what caused his bad experience. Each
person's experience is completely unique and is influenced by a
combination of many factors - your husband's own body being a very big
part of it. I, myself, have had a bad experience when a disposable
speculum was used. A friend of mine had a bad experience with a certain
type of equipment. I've also heard of someone having a bad experience
with a certain therapist. These are all only a part of the whole picture.
Honestly, if I had the experience your husband had my first time, I
doubt I would have gone back for more. I'm grateful to have had the
positive experience I did. I don't think colonics are necessary, but I
sure have found them to be very valuable in my own life.
I have had clients who have coerced their family members to come see me
very much against their own better judgment. It only took once for me
to see how that attitude influenced their procedure. Today, if I
suspect that is what is happening, I encourage that individual to not go
through with the treatment. They are usually very relieved and even
grateful to have not spent the money on a procedure they did not want.
Ultimately, we are each responsible to determine what is best for our
own well-being.
Cheers,
Robin
