The labs that do PCR testing that looks for the DNA of parasites, bacteria and yeasts do a better job at picking up them up than the ones that rely on staining and microscopic examination or antigen testing. The new Metametrics Lab GI Effects is a good one although expensive. It does extensive testing and gives you a lot of information about your bowel health. They have agents in other countries that you can order the test kits through if you don't live in the USA. I think you also have to go through a practitioner but they will help you.

If you happen to live in the UK Dr Dirk Budka who is at the Hale Clinic in London does PCR testing for parasites.

Hello All,

I have severe chemical sensitivity and want to get some testing done..for parasites..does anyone know of a test/lab that they can recommend? I have heard that alot of times tests dont show parasites even though a person will have them..if I am going to pay money..I hope to get a good test done..
