Re: [bowelcleanse] Re: Bowel implants Was: Herbal or Alternative treatment for Crohns and Colitis?

Hi GB,

I'm glad to hear your dog is doing better. It seems the lowly creatures
on the planet have an instinct about what they need. Your dog sounds
like he was trying to perform his own transpoosion.

Cheers,
Robin

Robin

Thanks for the links on poop. This past week, I did have some very interesting experiences with poop. Not mine. My dog is almost 15 YO. He as been very healthy during this time. Robin,

I am not on a quest to get a bowel implant. I was just curious about it and why they use it as opposed to detox diets, probiotics and other therapies and how they find/screen the donors. Personally, I eat a vegetarian diet that is easy to digest with lots of fruits and veggies and herbs. I use supplements like triphala.

Take care,

Hi GB,

I understand.

I am not a doctor, so I can't speak to the "doctor" question. I am
grateful to have no need a "trans-poo-sion," but I am a willing donor.
So I guess one answer to your question, "How do they find the donors?"

Good luck with your quest.

Robin,

I would imagine that you are an exception. I highly doubt many donors would do the type of cleansing you are talking about. I doubt if many even know about bowel cleansing since most are "normal" people. How do they find the donors? Do they test them or their stools in some way? I have read that most are family members. I imagine that most have the normal Western diet and that is not a very good diet.

Re: [bowelcleanse] Re: Bowel implants Was: Herbal or Alternative treatment for Crohns and Colitis?

Hi GB,

I'd bet if the donor did a systemic detox prior to the donation day, the
bacteria would in very good condition. If I were going to be a donor,
I'd do an Edgar Cayce Three-day Apple cleanse complete with daily
colonics, steams, massages, lots of fresh water intake, and deep
breathing. I'd make sure my body was in a slightly alkaline state. I
have an intact, healthy appendix which is the organ responsible for
colonizing the bowel with bacteria. If the body is in an excellent
state, the appendix will do its job nicely.

Cheers,
Robin

[bowelcleanse] Re: Bowel implants Was: Herbal or Alternative treatment for Crohns and Colitis?

I have heard a lot about bowel implants lately. It seems weird. You would get the Bad bacteria and "bugs" along with the good. Why not just use probiotics?

Thanks
GB

[bowelcleanse] Re: Herbal or Alternative treatment for Crohns and Colitis?

I did do some interesting reading on a doctor that has dome some fecal transplants from people with healthy bowels to those with unhealthy bowels (crohn's types) and had the Crohn's resolve.
Seems people who don't have C, do have some probiotics that apparently prevent/repair it, that those with C, don't have.

Sounds gross, but it works.

Pure colostrum should be considered also. The lining of the gut is made of epithelial cells, which totally turn over in three days. All new cells. Colostrum has Epithelial Growth Factor in it, and has been quite remarkable in helping the body to restore the lining in a remarkably short time. Those with Leaky Gut Syndrome, often notice an alleviation of food allergies after three days. Crohn's, being actual damage to the intestines, takes longer, but many find relief
quickly. A guy in my church took some and his long stanging Crohn's totally disappeared, as did his pain. He only took it for a few months. He was quite happy. Nothig works first time every time for everyone, but this one should definitely be studied and considered by thsoe with any intestinal challenge.

http://www.bulkcolostrum.com to do more reading.
Blessings
Donna

[bowelcleanse] Re: Extreme constipation

I'm assuming that there is a constriction, or kink or some other physical construction that is blocking???

You say it is a birth defect . . . what exactly do you mean.
That might increase our ability to have realistic input.

Thanks
Donna
