Soodler is correct regarding the posted website listed by this brezgammy. It got in by way of someone posting who isn't a member. It is a Malware site so if you happen to attempt to go there it will seek to get you to purchase a claimed antivirus or antimalware program. DO NOT click a Yes Or OK. Cancel and then shutdown your computer if need be. Use ctrl/alt/delete and stop the browser by End Task if you have Windows XP. With Vista it is a bit more tricky to the Task Manager but the same applies once you have it open.

Yes, with a slow thyroid your hair will fall out, and your skin will be dry but the present (2009) physician's desk reference books will attest to the fact that only a medical licensed general practioner or family doctor will tell you the real cure is to get a thyroid level done and this is a small blood test that will take an order secured by making an appointment with your doctor, then going with the labritory's order in hand or getting your blood drawn in the doctor's office so it can go thru the thyroid level test (the first of the tests is the most expensive) then if you indeed have a deficency in T3 level of the overal panel (other year or 2 year tests will be much less expensive) then if you do in fact have the low level of T3 in your blood, synthroid at the proper dosage for your particular labratory numeral adjustment scale of values listed only in the school that the physician attended, I suppose for I have not found it anywhere except by their knowledge and confirmed text in the Physician's Desk Reference book of prescription medicines under Thyroid replacements....the proper amount of real tryroid suppliment will be scribed by the physician for you and only you to take daily. You may be deficent, or over effencient...hypo or hyper thyroid so it is important to detemine to what level you lack the harmone, and at what level it should be administered by using synthroid (an Rx only med) because there are several available microgram doses of the pill and only your doctor and your blood reaction to the medicine will know for sure which is correct for your specific condition.
