Re: [bowelcleanse] Re: Constipation Questions & Hashimoto's

It was complicated and very personalized which is typical of working
with the material from the Cayce readings. I offer consultative
services for anyone looking to implement the Cayce concepts in their own
lives. If you're interested in working with me on a professional basis,
please contact me off-list.

I do, however, feel compelled to offer a disclaimer: There is often
considerable effort required by both parties involved in the journey of
discovering what will really help an individual. There are no "canned
approaches" or "quick fixes." If one is willing to put forth the effort
and work with me on discovery and implementation, these ideas that Cayce
gave so many years ago usually produce the conditions in which true
healing can occur. I don't have any answers, but I have knowledge of
the readings, terrific research skills, and plenty of encouragement I
can offer you while we work together to discover what those readings can
give you in your own healing journey.

Robin,

What is the protocol you are using? I too have Hashimoto's.

Re: [bowelcleanse] Re: Constipation Questions

Hi Kip,

You have done so many things, I can certainly understand your frustration.

Thanks, Sandy, for mentioning the thyroid component. In thinking back
on it, I am now realizing that my constipation may have been associated
with my thyroid. The treatment for Hashimoto's thyroiditis is taking
thyroid medication, but even while I was on the medication and my
thyroid levels appeared normal, I still had problems with constipation,
so I just figured it wasn't related. But, once I implemented a protocol
using the suggestions from the Cayce readings, and my thyroid function
returned to normal without medication may well have been when my
constipation disappeared. Hmmmm.... that's interesting.

Cheers,
Robin

[bowelcleanse] constipation conversation

I'd also agree that constipation can be
emotionally based.
I've been amazed over the years, in working with
women
with this issue, at how many of them were molested as
little girls. It seems like that part of them just
shut down.
EFT www.fol-hs.com can be helpful.

And, yes, the thyroid can be an issue. Often, when
people add lugol's iodine to their diet they find
their
bowels begin to move. Iodine is essential for thyroid
health and lugol's is one of the best iodines for
thyroid. www.excellentthings.com

I also like ThyroStim by Biotics Research, as it
has all
the building blocks the thyroid needs to produce
healthy
levels of thyroxin. www.excellentthings.com

And then there is always Homozon. It will clean
out any bowel,
fast, and thoroughly, without irritating the
lining of the intestines
or colon, as many herbal preparations do. I
recently was
chatting with a guy at my church who was asking
about how
to heal diverticulitus. He said he had major bowel
issues
after doing a famous herbal doctors bowel cleanse
products.
He is not the first one I've heard this from. I've
heard of many
people developing IBS from this same program.

Homozon does not do that. www.theoriginalhomozon.com

Then, of course, eating too much meat compared to
vegetables,
legumes, and fruits and non gluten grains like
rice, is all it
takes for some people to be constipated. By
reducing the
meat and increasing the others you can often
correct the issue
if it caused by excess protein.

Hope that helps

RE: [bowelcleanse] Re: Constipation Questions

I am sure you have heard this before but they say that constipation can
psychogicaly be due to "hanging on" to emotional stuff. Not letting go in
other words. It's worth considering if you haven't done so already.

All the best

Sandy

Yes, parasites might be an issue. I think they can become an issue with
anyone on the planet. In fact, I haven't ruled them out. In the past I've
tried the Hulda Clarke program with Greens Black Walnut Hulls, Wormwood and
Cloves and I think something improved. I've also tried salt water
flushing, used the "Oxy" product, Diatomaceous Earth (DE), Cascara Sagrada
(with menial results) and consume more probiotic food items than the
average American. (make my own cultured cabbage juice/vegetables, and

Someone talked to me privately about magnesium and, yes, I do it. Today I
use Magnesium Oxide with Vitamin C or lemon juice because the acid (so I've
read) releases the oxygen and helps clean the intestines, similar to how
oxygen products work.

The thyroid is something I've considered but am not ready to pursue at this
time.

Staying healthy is important at my age (50's). So how do I stay relatively
healthy when much of my life is spent in a fog? Well...I take a a few
short-cuts in the form of an enema from time to time. This provides the
lift (window of opportunity) I need to get out and take a few power walks
and bike rides on a regular basis. The key to surviving is staying
healthy WHILE I search for answers rather than waiting until I find answers
to think about my body (when it might be too late).

Just saw your answers kipp_kop and had a thought.

Have you ever had your thyroid hormones checked?

I know several people who had tried everything to improve their constipation
and they discovered they had

hypothyroid. When this was corrected their constipation improved.

They were lucky enough to see a doctor who also tested their free T3 levels
(FT3) and not just TSH ( thyroid stimulationg hormone) and T4. This is not
usually done in main stream medicine as they believe that a normal TSH
indicates that T4 and T3 are normal but that is not the case. There are
some doctors who will test for T3 as well if you ask for it. I personally
had a normal TSH but a low T3.

Other things to consider are food sensitivities or allergies and parasites.
If you are eating food that you react to then it can cause constipation. I
was given castor oil by an Ayurvedic Practitioner once and it completely
seized me up. She had never heard of it doing that to anyone! Parasites
can cause constipation. You don't mention any parasite cleanses in the
things you have already done.

Hope you find a solution.

not found the answer. As for doctors, they are the last people I would ever
trust.

2.What have you tried so far that hasn't worked for you? Eating lots of
fiber. Drinking lots of water, even water with raw apple cider vinegar. I've
also used bentonite/psyllium shakes, make green smoothies and swallow a few
tablespoons of extra virgin olive or coconut oil. I've also done retention
enemas with cultured cabbage juice, yogurt and coffee.

3.Whats your biggest fear when it comes to having constipation? That it will
get worse

4.What worries you - what are you afraid will happen if you don't do
something about your constipation immediately? Getting colon cancer

5.What would you be willing to do to solve your constipation problems?
I'm pretty brave. If it does not entail surgery or taking a pharmaceutical,
I'd probably try it.

6.If you could have one question answered about your constipation, what
would it be? "How do I cure it?"

7.Is your constipation chronic, moderate or mild? Chronic.

Hope I get a good score.

RE: [bowelcleanse] Re: Constipation Questions

Sandy
